The Boat
The West London Floating Classroom is 22 metres long by 4.2 metres wide and accommodates 60 people.
It is powered by an innovative electric-diesel hybrid motor, which ensures that it makes no noise
during its operation and importantly has no polluting emissions. The boat is recharged overnight
from electricity supplied from a sustainable power source. It is equipped with:
- A full IT suite including laptops and plasma screen
- Canteen for serving food and drink
- 2 wheelchair lifts
- 2 toilets (1 including disabled access)
- Viewing deck
